We take the 5 students from Hampton, Howard, Morehouse and Spelman and provide them with a leadership development retreat that will enhance their innate skills, develop new skills and allow the students to have a great time while bridging the gap between schools.

Some of the most influential leaders of our times are alumni of historically black colleges...Martin Luther King Jr., Thurgood Marshall, Toni Morrison and the list goes on. Born Ready is has as it's mission creating a space and a time to develop the next batch of students to accept the baton. The program will select 5 second semester freshmen, one from Morehouse, Spelman and Hampton and two from Howard and provide them with a 3 day leadership development retreat in San Juan Puerto Rico.
